About Dr. Rose Karanicolas
Dr. Rose Karanicolas is an established Allergist and Immunologist practicing in New York City for several years. She has expertise in both the treatment of children and adults in allergic and immunological diseases. Her clinical interests involve environmental allergy, allergic rhinitis, allergy shots, food allergy, atopic dermatitis, urticaria, immunodeficiency and autoinflammatory diseases.
She is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine.
She graduated from the Ross University School of Medicine highest
honors and completed Pediatric residency and Allergy/ Immunology
fellowship at State University of New York Downstate Medical Center.
She is board certified in Allergy and Immunology as well as Pediatrics. Dr. Karanicolas has conducted research in pediatric food allergy as well as in Celiac disease associated with rheumatologic disease.
She is a member of a variety of professional organizations including the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI), the American College of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology (ACAAI), the Clinical Immunology Society (CIS) and the New York Allergy and Asthma Society (NYAAS).
