About Dr. Rutvij Patel
Dr. Rutvij Patel is a therapeutic optometrist who completed his undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University, where he received a degree in Human Biology. He then earned his Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, FL in 2018.
Dr. Patel completed his externship rotations at Aker-Kasten Eye Institute in Boca Raton, FL and Center for Sight in Pensacola, FL. Upon graduation, he served as a center leader and clinical optometrist for a refractive surgery practice in Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Patel has extensive experience in pre-operative evaluation and post-operative care in cataract and refractive surgery patients. His interests include ocular disease and specialty contact lenses.
Dr. Patel is a native of North Carolina, but now calls Austin home with his wife. He enjoys traveling, playing tennis, trying new restaurants and coffee.

I was looking for a good Eye Doctor since I have Glacoma. I had moved to Georgetown from Austin. Had not been to an Eye doctor in a while. The staff is great. The Tech Christine was amazing... Made the exam fun... Dr Patel was GREAT.. He explained everything to me as he went along the exam. Very personable and makes you at ease... Going back in 3 months for follow-up.... I highly recommend Dr Patel and his staff. Had a great experience.....

I arrived at time and I was greeted very friendly ..After checking in and taken a seat, I was called by the very friendly Technician into the valuation room!!!..I was a little nervous, because it was a little bit longer since I had my last check-up ??, but the friendly and relaxed atmosphere there, helped me to overcome my concerns!!...I was treated so very kind and friendly ,that I am really happy to meet the staff and the Doctor , who has explained every aspect of the findings and future problems we have to check ??, and to keep an 'eye' on ?? Mainly I have healthy eyes and I'm good to go, but little things need to be observed and not taken to nonchalant when happening ??
I do know it is very important to follow up with you Optamatrist or Opthomologist when it comes up to your Visions, because you only have 1 pair of eyes ?? for your lifetime , which we all should treat with precautions, concerns and the most important care we can provide ?? Thank you Mann Eye ?? Office ??

The receptionist said I wasn’t covered by my insurance on two separate occasions and I had to have my insurance provider call them twice to fix it. I’ve been trying to order contacts for two weeks from them, but they don’t return phone calls and their automated phone system is impossible to navigate

The doctor and tech were great and helped with the problem. The doctor is very knowledgeable. Front staff is disorganized, and there is too much personal talk between staff. There was no sign from staff that the doctor was behind because of an emergency patient.
