“the only bad thing is when I checked in they should of made it aware that the provider I was seeing was actually in a delivery so I would know that the wait time would be longer than expected. I had no clue until almost 2 hours after my scheduled visit did I learned that.”

She is a graduate of Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario (Canada) with a Bachelor of Science (with Honors) in Life Sciences, and a minor in French Studies. She then went on to complete her medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine and completed her clinical rotations both in the US and in Canada. Dr. Khandaker received her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.

She was a sweet doctor and helpful but she seemed rushed as well as the staff didn’t spend time getting to know what was going on and there was a medication that was supposed to be filled the same day as my appointment and was not filled 3 days later and because of that I had to miss work because of withdrawal symptoms.

At both my 2nd appointment (Oct 2) & my first appt as a new patient (July 31), the staff that I interacted w/ at all times were pleasant & professional. The 1st first appt, I didn’t have to wait long beyond my scheduled time to have vitals taken and be seen by doctor. At both appts, I felt spent more time waiting & giving a urine sample and getting vitals taken than the appt took!
Oct 2: Worst experience ever! Waited over an hour (1 hr, 15 min) beyond my appt time to be seen. I provided exam results as agreed upon, and doctor asked how I wanted to proceed/what I wanted to do! Had zero experience w/ this issue, so I needed guidance & education, and wasn’t expecting to decide then. I looked up the issue & wanted to talk about ALL options. Doctor immediately recommended surgery w/o even addressing non-surgical options. Complete waste of time! Left angry, w/o help, & felt betrayed, saddened, and in tears. Not the experience I was expecting to have at all.
