“Dr. Sanaz Ooriel is hands down the best eye doctor I've ever had. She's not just skilled but also incredibly kind, patient, and always ready to tackle any questions you throw her way.
A couple of years back, I woke up with a sudden vision problem in one eye. I called up her office, and unlike many other doctors who might have suggested waiting for a scheduled appointment, Dr. Ooriel went the extra mile. She stayed late after her regular hours, just to accommodate my commute from Manhattan and address my concerns. She consistently goes above and beyond for her patients, and I can't thank her enough for that.”

About Dr. Sanaz Ooriel
Dr. Sanaz Ooriel received her training and doctorate degree from the SUNY College of Optometry. Since the start of her career, she has focused on providing comprehensive eye exams and has treated and managed refractive conditions, chronic dry eyes, glaucoma, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, macular degeneration and cataracts and co-managed surgical cases. She was trained extensively in advanced eye care and ocular disease, having undergone rotations through Woodhull Hospital and Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center in New York. Dr. Ooriel is a trusted optometrist who has served the Corona and Jackson Heights communities as well as the Bronx for over a decade. She prides herself for taking her time during comprehensive eye exams and providing thorough attention and care to her patients. Dr. Ooriel’s ability to communicate in English, Spanish, and Farsi and her compassion and enthusiasm allow her to provide the very best care to her patients who are from diverse cultural backgrounds. She is also proficient in pediatric eye care, vision therapy evaluations, and treatment of amblyopia, as well as other vision dysfunctions. She is passionate about preventative ocular examinations such as myopia (nearsightedness) progression control using FDA approved contact lenses and eye drops.

Love love love!!!! Dr. Sanaz is efficient and professional, she does her job as a doctor, she loves her patients and their care. Office is clean especially with the most greeted welcome. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to go to her and her only! She will answer any questions you have, and explain everything throughly. I promise you will find no one else better! Please go here as your primary doctor. Definitely will be back for my yearly.

The atmosphere of this place is very comfortable. The staff talk to each other like normal people; there's no sense that they don't want to be there or that your visit is a nuisance to them.
They treat each patient with respect and and kindness and they're very quick with their work. Wait times are almost nonexistent if you made an appointment.
I wholeheartedly recommend their service.
