About Dr. Sara Berke-Silva
Dr. Berke-Silva is a dedicated optometrist and a current member of the Broward County Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, Gold Key Honors Society, and Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University and holds a Bachelor's degree from Florida State University. Additionally, Dr. Berke-Silva was awarded a Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry at the New Orleans 2015 meeting.
Fellows of the Academy are committed to the premise that learning is a lifelong obligation of a professional, as is the commitment to expand the profession's knowledge base through ongoing fellowship and exchange.
Dr. Berke-Silva has presented posters and participated in research focused on specialty contact lenses and continues to stay up-to-date on the newest contact lens information available.

The best and most thorough eye exam I've ever had! Dr. Silva and the entire staff were so pleasant and knowledgeable making the entire visit a positive experience. I left feeling my appointment very confident with my current and future eye care with Dr. Silva and the entire West Boca Eye Center team and fortunate to have found the best eye care around. I highly recommend them for your eye care needs.

My entire experience since booking appointment was 5 stars! The office is beautiful and staff are all professional, sweet and very knowledgeable. I had a very questions before apt & they were able to answer all confidently. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Silva. My appointment was last week and my condition is already improved!

Everyone seems very nice however I expect more than nice when I take a day off and make an appointment to be seen, I made this appointment shared my medical insurance card and on the day of the visit, I find out this ridiculous amount for a preventive care visit I have to pay, first they don’t take vision insurance and 2nd of all, they called to confirmed the appointment, they blasted confirmation after confirmation and no one care to confirm and set expectation for the payment, which by the way you must pay prior to leaving, not even they bill you. So I have nothing against any of the professionals in these office but definitely the office manager needs to have a better process in place for these things. It was embarrassing and I took a day off work just for that.

Dr. Silva is by far the best optician I've come across. She genuinely cares about her patients well being and the health of their eyes. She is a warm hearted professional who is passionate about her work. Her staff is very thorough and friendly. I highly recommend seeing Dr Sara Berke-Silva at West Boca Eye Center.

Went to multiple doctors before seeing Dr. Silva and no one could tell me what was wrong. However, on my first visit Dr. Silva told me what was wrong and cured ME!!

This is an amazing office with the best docs and staff! I was visiting from out-of-town but had issues with my contact lenses. Dr. Silva was able to see me on a short notice. She was friendly and educated me a lot on using my contacts. She fit me in new contacts and now my eyes feel so much better and overall more comfortable!

Wow! I love how thorough this exam was, from the beginning to end. I went to see Dr. Silva because my contacts were bothersome. She fitted me in different brands until I found one I loved. Dr. Silva is patient and you can tell she really wants to help your eyes feel better. Very attentive as well!

Dr. Silva is the best! I was a little nervous because I hadn't had an eye exam in a long time. She made me feel very comfortable and was very gentle. She also pays close attention to detail! I especially loved that she translated things I didn't understand in English to Spanish!

Saw Dr. Silva today for the first time as a new patient. We did an eye exam and discussed the irritation I've been having with dry eyes. She was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I highly recommend her to anyone that needs to see an optometrist.
