About Dr. Sara Camburn

Sara Camburn, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in May 2006, graduating with honors. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, cum laude, with a minor in Chemistry from Central Michigan University in 2000. During her time at CMU, she was an active member of the Marching Chippewas. During her optometric training, Dr. Camburn completed externships at Fort Wainwright Army Base in Fairbanks, Alaska; the Michigan State University Neuro-Ophthalmology Clinic; and Lansing Ophthalmology at Sparrow Hospital Professional Building. She joined Okemos Optometry in 2007 and has extensive experience treating patients of all ages. Dr. Camburn is licensed to diagnose and manage a variety of ocular conditions, including allergies, dry eye, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Camburn resides in Okemos with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, biking, running, and spending time with her nieces.
