About Dr. Sarah Krause
Sarah Krause, O.D., is from Chesterfield, MI, and a 2007 graduate of L'Anse Creuse High School North. She attended Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology. During her junior year, she developed an interest in optometry and was active in her college's pre-optometry club. In 2011, she was accepted into Salus University's Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2015.
At the end of her third year of optometry school, Dr. Krause completed primary care training at Cleveland Eye Clinic in Ohio. She also received clinical training during her final year at Broward Eye Care and Braverman Eye Center in Florida, the Michigan Veterans Affairs Hospital, and completed a pediatrics rotation at The Eye Institute through Salus University.
Dr. Krause began her career practicing with Advanced Vision in 2016 and joined Normandy Optical in 2020 when they acquired the practice. Her interests include pediatric eye care, binocular vision and vision therapy, and treating and co-managing ocular diseases. Dr. Krause looks forward to providing the most compassionate care to you, your family, and your friends.
She is an active member of the Michigan Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her loving husband, Nathan, and their two bright and adventurous daughters, Gabriella and Ruby. She also enjoys visiting with family and friends. Tennis is one of her favorite ways to stay active, allowing her to indulge in the baked goods she loves to bake.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Sarah Krause! She was incredibly thorough, kind, and patient, especially in accommodating my hearing loss. The front staff was welcoming and personable, making the entire visit smooth and enjoyable. The showroom had a wide variety of options, and the staff was there to assist from start to finish. Thank you all for such wonderful care—we highly recommend!
