“Dr. Mehta is kind and amazing. She answers questions and is very professional. The team doing tests are thorough, clear communicators, and very patient. The loss is the front desk. They seemed like they didn't know what was happening and said I had a 20 min wait that turned into an hour. I noticed people who came in after me getting in faster. It was strange. The medical service is really great which is why I stay at this location but the front desk can be better with checking in. ”

About Dr. Sarika Mehta
Dr. Mehta graduated with a Bachelors of Arts from Concordia College in Minnesota. From there she attended Illinois College of Optometry where she received her doctorate. Her externships include West Haven VA, Brooklyn VA, and The Illinois Eye Institute where she received training in low vision, ocular disease, and primary care optometry. She is a member of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) through which she has done philanthropic work in Peru, Columbia, Costa Rica, and Bolivia. She is continually learning the latest in eye health, and lens/contact lens technology. She specializes in hard and soft contact
lens fittings. In her free time she enjoys hiking upstate, running the
east river path, healthy cooking, and traveling.
