Benadryl must be stopped 36 hours prior to testing. ******************************************************************************* Dr. Ahmed was born and raised in Warren, Pennsylvania, receiving her medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine (MCP Hahnemann) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She did her internship at Brown in Rhode Island and her residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Ahmed also carried out clinical trials at the University of Utah Medical Center and did her Fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She is board-certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Ahmed is also a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI). She has presented her research at many meetings, including the AAAAI and World Allergy Organization.
