About Dr. Saundra Ferrera

Dr. Ferrera graduated Magna Cum Laude from Providence College earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She completed her optometric training at the New England College of Optometry in 2002 and is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Her clinical training included internships at Capital Eye Consultants in Fairfax, Virginia and Braverman Eye Center in Hallandale, Florida. During her post-doctoral residency, Dr. Ferrera specialized in ocular disease treatment and management. Dr. Ferrera has practiced in the Leominster area since 2003 and takes a special interest in contact lens fitting and treatment and management of ocular disease. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and is committed to providing her patients with thorough and comprehensive eye care. Dr. Ferrera resides in Leominster with her family. She enjoys running, traveling, and playing the piano.
