Scott Minnerath, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2021 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from St. Cloud State University in 2017. Dr. Minnerath was inspired to pursue optometry after being treated for amblyopia (reduced vision in one eye) as a child, an experience that showed him the importance of lifelong eye care. He is passionate about helping patients of all ages improve their vision and maintain healthy eyecare. He has special interests in dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration (a condition affecting central vision), and binocular vision (how well the eyes work together). Dr. Minnerath is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy vision and prevent vision loss. In his free time, Dr. Minnerath enjoys hiking with his dog, Lucy, swimming, watching movies, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
