About Dr. Scott Rappe
Dr. Rappe was born and raised in Long Island, NY. He attended college in upstate New York at Binghamton University, receiving a Bachelor's of Science in Biology. He received his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007 then completed his Internal Medicine residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan. After becoming board certified in his specialty, Dr. Rappe joined a private practice in Long Island in 2012 in which he saw patients in the office, hospital, and a few nursing homes. After spending a couple of years with that practice, Dr. Rappe decided to relocate to Atlanta. His approach to medicine includes patient education of their medical issues as well as teamwork between physician and patient. He believes this leads to much improved outcomes.

Dr. Rappe is an exceptional doctor.
He took his time and listened to all my concerns and was extremely knowledgeable.
When the phlebotomist was on lunch break, he stepped in and drew my blood himself. I was extremely impressed.
I will recommend Dr. Rappe to everyone.

He is definitely passionate about helping people. There need to be more medical people similar to him. He is very open and suggests ideas to work with you. He really focuses on including you in treatment ideas. He makes the time about you and does not make you feel rushed at all. Sure you don't want to stay there talking forever, but I feel if I needed to he wouldn't rush me to shut up.

I was very pleased with Dr. Rappe and all the staff at the Peachtree Medical office. Dr. Rappe took the time to understand my medical issues and was very thorough. When I had concerns about my medical insurance, Dr. Rappe and the staff arranged for me to speak to the office manager, which was very helpful. I have never been to such a thorough and professional medical office.
