Dr. Serena McArthur earned a Bachelor of Science in Education in Health Science Studies with honors and a Biology minor from Baylor University. In 2024, she received her Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. During her time at SCO, Dr. McArthur loved being involved in both optometric and local communities by serving in leadership roles in multiple academic and service-focused organizations—including being awarded Student Ambassador of the Year for her class. Following graduation, Dr. McArthur completed a residency in primary care and ocular disease at BronxCare Health Hospital System in New York. Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. McArthur enjoys traveling, attending local city events, coffee, and reading for leisure.
