About Dr. Seth Stofferahn

Serving all patients well is a way of life for Dr. Stofferahn. He’s spent countless hours caring for underprivileged men, women, and children throughout Oregon as a volunteer with local programs that offer critical services and information. He’s even had the opportunity to try his hand at making glasses for members of the homeless community living in Oregon’s Multnomah and Washington Counties. Dr. Stofferahn’s service to those less fortunate sealed his selection as one of Vance Thompson Vision’s residents in 2021. The Fargo native and University of North Dakota alum since earned his doctorate from Pacific University College of Optometry where he was also a teaching assistant. Dr. Stofferahn takes great responsibility for developing lasting relationships within the community he serves. He is deeply interested in research and anterior segment care and enjoys learning about and utilizing the newest advancements for treating ocular disease. Seth and his wife, Alexis, enjoy traveling, summer days spent at the lake, and cooking.
