About Dr. Sharleen He
A Northern Virginia native, Dr. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech before attending the Southern College of Optometry where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. He completed her training in ocular disease, contact lenses, dry eye management, and ocular surgical co-management at The Eye Center in Memphis, Tennessee. She received Clinical Excellence recognition during her Primary Care internship at Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center and is the recipient of the Halpern Award for Passion in Optometry. Her expertise extends to medical exams including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic vision exams.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. He enjoys meeting new people, running, volunteering at church, traveling, and participating in medical mission trips to Côte d'Ivoire.

The doctor was great! I’d go back! But the staff was like leaving a car dealership, they just wanted more money then and there and got mad when I said I’d follow the doctors instructions and call when I knew I wanted to order the new contacts. They said I’d lose money if I listened to the doctor for a rebate? I won’t return to this office but I did enjoy the eye doctor herself if she moves I’d recommend her! Doctor was great, just be wary of the office people.

Dr. He is great! Knowledge, informative and super kind. I came after work, the team was in high spirits and the experience was all around pleasurable. I got examined for contact lens and glasses, Mo helped me choose the right qty of lens that fit my budget and my needs.
