Dr. Klein is a Board Certified ophthalmologist. He grew up in Livingston, NJ, and graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his M.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (formerly Rutgers) in New Brunswick, NJ, where he was a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. Dr. Klein completed his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and pursued fellowship training in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at Rush University Medical Center.
He currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he helps train the ophthalmologists of tomorrow.

I haven't had an appointment in 11 years. I was tentative to go. The office staff was great. I was lost and they came outside to find me! The doctor was outstanding. He put me at ease and explained everything. He was excellent about addressing my eye issues with my diabetes. When he told me I needed cataract surgery in each eye he explained the process and what me insurance would cover. I am definitely going to continue going there yearly.

Perhaps the suggestions I have would be that anyone who you interact with. Like his assistant should introduce themselves and tell who they are and what they will be doing.
I would also like to see a brighter and a bit more modern space

Dr Klein is the best. Never rushes to get you done. After each step of the examination Dr Klein makes sure that you understand what he was looking for and what he has found. He alway makes you feel as though you are the most important person in his office. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

The Zocdoc appointment was a failure .. the office never received notice of my appt. However, fortunately they had a cancellation and could see me. A testament to the quality of the medical practice … but a failure of Zocdoc

the office in short hill seemed dirty and overcrowded. Machines weren’t working, and it seemed like the office employees were bickering. Employees were also not that friendly nor did they explain a lot either.

New patient - filled out forms through zoc doc. no wait at all. nice staff, but not forced nice. just happy to be there. dr. klein was on point too. knew what it was that was bothering me. explained it in doctor talk and regular talk. told me what to do. wrote a prescription. told me when to come back. first time patient, thorough evaluation, concise analysis. in an out in around a half hour. what more could I ask for? it was great, and I am happy to have found an ophthalmologist that I plan on going back to whenever needed. Oh, and there is plenty of parking in the back. Awesome.

Overall the visit with the doctor was a good experience. The only thing that was a little weird is once I arrived to the office I was asked to fill out paperwork, and before I even got 1 page in, I was then rushed into my appointment without completing it, and I made sure to mention this several times to the medical assistant. The exam went well, and I was then left needing to complete the paperwork at the end of the appointment. This of course is not a good or by any means best practice to follow, the result was me being rushed into an appointment without them knowing any of my medical history or allergies...
