About Dr. Shawn Muldoon
A certified therapeutic optometrist serving members of the Houston area since 2000, Dr. Shawn Muldoon is a superior choice for patients seeking quality eye care in a comfortable and friendly environment.
Dr. Muldoon earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry and now serves as an adjunct assistant professor at the Cornea and Contact Lens Service within the college. Due to his professorship and his membership in the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and the Harris County Optometric Society, Dr. Muldoon is committed to remaining current on state-of-the-art technology and procedures.
Dr. Muldoon performs a variety of services, including comprehensive eye examinations, optical frame dispensary, and dry eye/tear tests. He specializes in hard-to-fit contact lenses, ocular disease, laser vision correction, and primary care optometry.
With a caring and friendly demeanor, Dr. Muldoon knows how to put patients at ease and make them feel well informed about their treatment.
When he is not working, Dr. Muldoon enjoys cycling, soccer, and spending time with his wife and two children.
