About Dr. Sierra Jin

Dr. Jin is a Board Certified ophthalmologist devoted to comprehensive eye care and treating corneal diseases.
Dr. Jin provides in-depth care for a wide range of ocular conditions, well check-ups, and cataract surgery including laser-assisted cataract surgery. She specializes in complex cataract surgery, anterior segment reconstruction, and treatment of corneal conditions. Dr. Jin performs full and partial thickness corneal transplantation (PKP, DSAEK, DMEK).
Dr. Jin earned her doctorate degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. After her internship at University of Chicago-North Shore, Dr. Jin served as Chief Resident at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York during her residency in ophthalmology. During her residency she spear-headed projects for medical education and published articles in leading journals such as Current Opinions in Ophthalmology, Cornea, and American Journal of Ophthalmology. Dr. Jin completed her fellowship training in Cornea, External Diseases, & Refractive Surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital in New York.
Dr. Jin is a compassionate physician and believes in providing the highest standard of care for her patients. Her goal is to tailor the treatment to the individual needs of each patient. Dr. Jin speaks fluent English and Mandarin Chinese.

I scheduled the appointment thru this website . To my surprise (and the desk lady) my name did not show on the scheduled appointments for that day . She told me this office doesn't use ZocDoc anymore . However, doctor squeezed me in and saw me . Everyone is friendly and helpful at the Clifton location.
