Dr. Ravikumar is a superb fertility specialist who represents the newest addition to the stellar Sher Fertility Solutions team.
Dr. Ravikumar began her career covering all aspects of OBGYN care, ranging from wellness management to complex surgeries, including robotically assisted laparoscopic /hysteroscopic procedures for endometriosis and uterine fibroids. Her passion for the field of infertility grew over time, leading her to join the Sher team.
The management style of her partners, Drs. Sher and Tortoriello, in which the plan for each patient is as compassionate and customized as possible, resonates with her deeply. Dr. Ravikumar builds a strong bond with each of her patients and prides herself in practicing shared decision making, providing her patients with the highest quality of care and satisfaction.
Dr. Ravikumar began her education in the biological sciences at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts. She graduated summa cum laude from the Honors Commonwealth College with her B.S. in 2010. She then moved to Wisconsin to earn her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her training with a four-year Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2019. She subsequently practiced in the Manhattan area for 5 years, working in Mt. Sinai and NYU hospitals during this time. She has received over a thousand 5-star reviews for excellence in medical care and contributed greatly to her prior practice being named best in Manhattan. Her recent accolades include being named a top 50 OBGYN in New York City, entry into Global Who’s Who of Physicians, and being a Pinnacle physician award winner.
Dr. Ravikumar has published several research publications in the field. She also has contributed to the formation of clinical trials regarding wound healing and early stages of cancer.

Very happy with my experience. Dr. Ravikumar was very thorough and had a kind manner about her. I was apprehensive to switched doctors because I've been seeing mine for about 25 years but given I am older now and have more specific concerns, I needed to find a female doctor was that sympathetic to my needs. Doctor and medical assistants (Crystal and Alexis) were amazing. They were professional and personable. Dr. Ravikumar seemed relaxed, I noticed, which reaffirmed me of her expertise. She took her time to genuinely get to know me and my interests and connected with me—and she even offered me advice as a prospective med student!
The waiting room was nicely decorated, and comfortable. I didn’t mind waiting at all—in fact, I only had to because I had arrived early. Would love to come back again.

The clinic is so clean, the team are very friendly and polite.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend Dr. Ravikumar. Our first appointment went okay, with her prescribing me medication. The medication did not work, so she asked me to come back in. At the second appointment it was clear she had no idea why I was there and really rushed the appointment to the point where I felt uncomfortable. I don't think I would go back.
