About Dr. Smita Biswas
Dr. Biswas is a physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology at the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center. This doctor did not truly listen to me, only responded by wrote to my questions and concerns. During the procedure she was impatient and cold, depsite repeatedly expressing my distress. This is a highly sensitive specialty and frankly I would never recommend this doctor, especially if this is your first time or if you have history of SA or specific needs or concerns.

Not a bad office and doctor but she’s slightly condescending. I understand diet & weight can affect vaginal problems but I felt like that was the main focus on why I was having issues. When in reality my diet isn’t terrible. The office overall is nice though but I don’t feel comfortable enough to go back sadly. Just an overall “ok..” experience.

I thought she was nice but too hurried, didn’t feel as understood or appreciated for being a client and requesting a service, especially one I was paying out of pocket for. She seemed to be in a rush and wanted to get it over with, kinda was afraid to ask questions because I was sure to be interrupted and spoken over.

My experience with this doctor was deeply upsetting. She completely dismissed my concerns and refused to listen to what I had to say about my own body and what has worked for me in the past. I felt belittled and unheard as she patronizingly dismissed my input, prescribing a medication that I explicitly told her has never worked for me. Instead of taking the time to understand or research the medication that has been effective for me, she ignored my needs entirely. I left feeling invisible, as if my voice and well-being didn’t matter. No one should have to feel this way when seeking care, and I will not return to this doctor.

From the moment I walked in the door, the care I received was excellent. The front desk was helpful and polite. The nurse was kind, the facility clean, and Dr. Biswas was excellent. As this was my first visit with her, she was very thorough in gathering all of my history, and answered all of my questions. Unlike some doctors, she listened to my concerns about entering perimenopause and gave me good information to help. I'm so happy I found Dr. Biswas and thankful to others who shared their reviews on Zocdoc.
