About Dr. Sonya Sheth

Dr. Sonya Sheth joined Sheth Horsley Eye Center in 2017. She has a wide variety of experience in specialty contact lenses, ocular diseases, and pre- and post-management of ocular surgery. She has been practicing for over 20 years and holds licenses in six other states. Dr. Sheth was born and raised in Chicago and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry, where she also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Science. Prior to her optometry career, Dr. Sheth earned her Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a minor in Business from Loyola University Chicago. Dr. Sheth has participated in more than 65 clinics worldwide for charity. "It's an amazing feeling when you give sight and quality of life to someone who would never have had access to eye care."
