After graduation, he and his wife, Dr. Karen Rosen, moved to St. Louis, MO, where they opened their own private optometry practice, Rosen Optometry. After 40 years in St. Louis, the Rosens relocated to Tucson, Arizona, in 2019. In addition to his practice in St. Louis, Dr. Rosen has participated in numerous charitable international optometry clinics in countries such as India, the Philippines, Paraguay, and South Africa. He has also served as an examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. Dr. Rosen is a Past President of the St. Louis Optometric Society and was honored as their Optometrist of the Year in 2008. He also served as a Trustee for the Missouri Optometric Association. Dr. Rosen is a Life Member of the American Optometric Association and is an active member of both the Arizona Optometric Association and the Southern Arizona Optometric Society.
