“I never had an experience like this it was great
They have this machine that dilates your eyes and takes pictures. Of you're corny.
You never have to go through All of them drops, to dilate . They burn and they itch, and your eyes hurt. when you get out of the office, you have to wear those dark ugly plastic your eyes are very sensitive to the glare. This is a whole new experience. you don't have to go through that. Specially for seniors.
Our eyes are very sensitive this is .awesome. No drops.”

About Dr. Steven Sugar
Dr. Sugar graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 1990 with a Doctor of Optometry degree and from The University of Texas at Austin in 1986. His practice includes comprehensive optometry, contact lenses, treatment and management of ocular conditions, and Laser Vision Consultation. He is board certified by the state of Texas in Therapeutic Optometry, and in 2001, Dr. Sugar became a Certified Glaucoma Specialist. He is a native Houstonian who graduated from Westbury High School. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His other interests include watching baseball (most of the time the Astros), traveling, painting, and playing golf.

I was in search of a new optometrist after our old one quite accepting our insurance. I found Dr Sugar online and saw that they had exceptional reviews. After my eye exam and consultation I can see why they have such great reviews! Friendly staff greeted me when I arrived. My appointment started on time. The doctor and optometry assistant were very thorough and took the time to answer all my question. They also took the time to explain what they were doing along the results. Overall a seamless great experience!
