About Dr. Stewart Kaplan
Dr. Stewart Kaplan has been practicing allergy and asthma care on Long Island for the past 30 years. He sees patients at two convenient office locations in Massapequa, NY, and Rockville Centre, NY, treating both adults and children at each site.
Dr. Kaplan earned his medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara Facultad de Medicina in Guadalajara. He completed his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. His research focuses on the effects of aging on the immune response. In addition to laboratory research, Dr. Kaplan continues to teach students and residents the most up-to-date approaches to diagnosing and treating allergic and immunologic conditions.
A world-renowned specialist in his field, Dr. Kaplan is attentive to his patients’ needs and interests. I called 4 Allergist before finding Dr Kaplan with no success for an appointment.
The first kept me on the call 35 minutes repeatedly asking me to spell my name, date of birth & needing to check my Medicare insurance, then told me they would call me back, that never happened.
2nd call, advised me last Sunday, I need a Covid test before,
3rd call, advised me to not take meds for 3-5 days prior to appointment.
Zocdoc allowed me to schedule on Sunday via computer for my Monday 1PM appt.
Dr. Kaplan was attentive, professional, listening to all my symptoms & addressing each of them. I have been experiencing these symptoms for 8 weeks & I left his office with answers & a new treatment plan. I am returning in 1week for re-evaluation of the treatment plan. Thank you Doc. I appreciate your dedication to your profession.

Dr. Kaplan is Amazing! He made my 13 year old daughter laugh, anyone who has a teenaged daughter knows that is quite difficult to do, and he was able to accomplish this immediately. He and his staff are extremely friendly. We feel confident that we will get to the bottom of our daughter’s allergic reactions under his care.

Dr. Kaplan is such a knowledgeable doctor. He is straightforward and efficient in treating his patients. He does not beat around the bush, try to over-diagnose or “sell you” on anything. Not to mention he is sweet and attentive, great bedside manner! There was no wait time in his office either. I would recommend to anyone!

My actually appointment was 3/31/2022 at 4:10p and got cancelled 3/31/2022 at around 11:30 saying the doctor was sick and needed to reschedule. Which I did for April 5th 2022 at 4:00p. The office is small and a fire hazard. There is paper files every where. I observed the space and it need a super renovation as soon as possible.

Very friendly staff and doctor. Wait time was reasonable (15-20 min). All the online info i entered on the computer prior to doctor visit to save time was useless as the receptionist said she couldn't access the online info. So i had to fill everything out again at the doctor office. Other than that i was pleased with the initial visit.
