About Dr. Suzy Kim
Dr. Suzy Kim is a highly skilled, board-certified gynecologist with specialized training in family planning. She has been practicing for over 24 years. She is passionate about providing the full range of in-office contraceptive care and prides herself on her ability to make patients feel at ease. She is personable and compassionate.
Dr. Kim earned her Medical Degree (MD) from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, NY in 1996. She completed her OB-GYN residency at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM in 2000. She then went on to complete her fellowship training in Complex Family Planning at Columbia University in New York, NY in 2001. Dr. Kim also earned a Master of Public Health degree (MPH) from Columbia University in Sociomedical Sciences.

Dr.Kim was very kind and knowledgeable. She was genuine and direct with her medical opinions, the nurse that serviced me was also very professional and experienced. I enjoyed the music in the waiting room a lot which is curated by the staff in front. I was late but was able to call ahead and reschedule only 15 minutes after my original appointment which I found very convenient. I enjoyed my experience and will be back.

The doctor did not disclose the fact that the IUD string did not show or show me images of the sonogram when I asked for them for confirmation. The process of removing the IUD was made painful intentionally and the procedure was not successful or there was no walking me through on how the procedure will be

She listened to all my questions and concerns with compassion, and offered meaningful suggestions regarding contraceptives (to help combat some past IUD trauma that I had).
