About Dr. Tani Sanghvi
Dr. Sanghvi has been practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1998 and is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Born and raised in Manhattan, she graduated from Stuyvesant High School and Amherst College before earning a joint MD/Master’s in Public Health degree from Tufts University in Boston. After completing her residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, she joined the long-established boutique practice started by her mother, herself one of the first female Ob/Gyn's in solo practice at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Sanghvi has been providing individualized, expert and compassionate care in a warm and welcoming environment ever since.
Dr. Sanghvi’s patients benefit from medical expertise that is a result of excellent training as well as nearly 20 years of experience of patient-focused care. Her patients come knowing they will get the time and attention they need to address all issues and questions. Her thoughtful, thorough approach extends to patients of all ages, from young women seeking contraceptive counseling and those who are planning a family to women entering the menopausal phase of reproductive life. Dr. Sanghvi delivers and operates at Lenox Hill Hospital, and cares for both low- and high-risk obstetric patients. She is also an expert in the full range of gynecologic surgery, including cutting-edge, minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Sanghvi provides personal, individualized care in a practice that is committed to developing a relationship with each patient and giving every woman the time and attention she needs.
A devoted New Yorker, Dr. Sanghvi lives with her husband and son near Lenox Hill Hospital, where she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, tennis and skiing, and (if time permits) the Times Sunday crossword.

Dr. Sanghvi is wonderful! Knowledgeable, excellent manner with patients. Gives everyone individual time and attention. She is the best doctor I have ever been to. Whether a routine appointment, a crisis, or a birth, she is fantastic. Its like Having a friend there with you. highly recommend!

Tani is a fantastic physician. Always exceedingly kind, courteous and professional. She is incredibly knowlegabe, trustworthy and discreet. I never have any misgivings when I see her. She, and her entire staff, are attentive, extremely well-informed and helpful. I highly recommend Tani and can't imagine being in better care with anyone else.

Dr. Sanghvi is one of the most magical doctors I have ever met. She is so caring that its rare. She takes the time to understand you and want you want. She strives to meet your every goal. I feel so blessed to have met her. I just had my first baby with her and the experience was incredible.
