Getting to know Dr. TeeJay Tripp

TeeJay Tripp, DO has been applauded as one of the best psychiatrists in the Phoenix area, because his approach to individualized treatment for mental health is focused on finding solutions, not just treating symptoms. After he began practicing as a psychiatrist in Gilbert, Arizona, Dr. Tripp later began to specialize in transcranial magnetic stimulation, or TMS therapy, after he saw first-hand how it improves lives as a treatment for depression and many other mental health conditions. He found that traditional medications for depression just aren’t enough for the many patients who are depression treatment resistant, and began to see this new FDA-approved, drug free treatment for mental health as a beacon of hope for those struggling with drug-resistant major depressive disorder and other conditions. Serenity Mental Health Centers was born of Dr. Tripp’s mission to help more people get access to the high-quality, affordable mental health treatment they deserve, in a supportive and judgement-free environment. Dr. Tripp has nurtured a world-class team of talented psychiatrists, mental health professionals and management that treats patients with dignity, respect and encouragement. These core values are the foundation that empowers Serenity patients with choice in their own recovery. Dr. TeeJay Tripp is a board-certified psychiatrist and a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist. He received his medical degree from Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009. Dr. Tripp completed his General Psychiatry residency at Maricopa Integrated Health System, after which he completed his fellowship for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the same institution.
