I booked an appointment with a white man, but was seen by an asian woman. She was nice. I was told I have oil gland issues causing my dry eyes. After imaging the dr asked me which eye was worse. I said my left eye. She said 'Yes, that is what imaging shows. Look at how your left eye is worse on these pictures'. I had actually gotten my right and left confused (I know, I know). My left eye is much better. A lot of the phrasing she used made it sound like she had been trained in sales, trying to inch me towards paying for more services from them.
Then she told me how I could do some things at home for pretty much free to help the issue on an ongoing basis. Or I could pay them to do basically the same things in the office. I don't understand why I would pay for a machine to massage my eye glands. When I was checking out the receptionist called it the dry eye package. This was the first time I had felt like I was at a car dealership when going to the eye doctor.

Helpful, efficient, and friendly front desk staff. Dr. Aller was funny, easy going, and helped me sort through an astigmatism. His assistant, Macie walked me through the initial exam smoothly, making me feel comfortable and well informed the whole way through.
