About Dr. Thomas Hatesohl

Thomas Hatesohl, OD was born and raised in Clay Center, Kansas, and graduated from Concordia University, Nebraska in 2011 with high distinction, majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry. He was a percussionist in the University Symphonic Band and remains an active musician at Trinity Lutheran Church in Salina. Dr. Hatesohl received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri St. Louis and graduated at the top of his class in May 2019. During Dr. Hatesohl's internships, he worked in a specialty contact lens practice, an ophthalmology setting, and at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. He is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society, American Optometric Association, Kansas Optometric Association, and Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity. In January 2020, Dr. Hatesohl joined a team of volunteers from Kansas to run a week-long vision clinic in Escobal, Panama. He is an avid fan of the Kansas Jayhawks, Kansas City Chiefs, and Royals baseball. Additionally, in his free time, Dr. Hatesohl enjoys reading, traveling, and going for walks with his wife and dog.
