Dr. Pham attended Johns Hopkins University as a National Merit Scholar, obtaining her undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering. She earned her medical degree from one of the top medical schools—the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Pham received her training in ophthalmology at the world-renowned Cole Eye Institute at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Pham has been in practice for over 10 years, and has performed thousands of eye surgeries. She also performs comprehensive eye exams and treats many common as well as complex eye conditions and emergencies. She specializes in laser-assisted cataract surgery, along with advanced technology intraocular lens implantation, to give her patients the best results possible. Dr. Pham provides a range of glaucoma services from medical treatments and SLT laser to surgeries. She is adept at MIGS (Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery) including istent and Hydrus microstent implantation for mild to moderate glaucoma, as well as tube shunts for the most severe or advance cases. Her refractive expertise includes RLE (refractive or clear lens exchange), LASIK, PRK and Visian ICL (implantable contact lens, i.e. for patients with high myopia who are not candidates for LASIK). In addition to English, Dr. Pham also speaks Vietnamese. She prides herself in taking part in mission trips and giving lectures on glaucoma and cataract surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, painting, and spending time with her active young son.
