Dr. Birthistle is a graduate of DePauw University, with a BA in Biology. He then completed an MBA at Indiana Wesleyan University, and graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Optometry. He is a past president of the Central Indiana Optometric Society, and enjoys working with people from all walks of life. He especially enjoys working with specialty contact lenses to help with vision improvement with disease and in helping with Ortho-K lenses to aid in the slowing of myopia. Outside of work, Dr. Birthistle enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, playing music, and cooking.
