I thought with all the positive reviews, that he would be a good first male gynecologist. Boy, was I wrong. He brushed off my concerns, stating that what I was reading off recent scientific papers was “well known”, insisted aggressively that hormonal IUDs do NOT cause depression (proven to be untrue in hormone-sensitive people), telling me “that’s like saying condoms cause depression.” Asked him to remove my copper IUD, which he ridiculed me for having chosen in the first place. He did so without warning and began examining my uterus without letting me wait through the cramps. He is not up to date on research in his field. Would not recommend.

Dr. Kim was fantastic. My previous doctor had retired and I was skeptical about finding someone. I needed an appointment quickly so I used zocdoc and came across Dr. Kim. I am so glad I trusted this service and saw him. He was great. Communicated everything to me, took time to explain my options and make sure I was informed about next steps in treatment. Safe to say I found my permanent doctor!
