About Dr. Tony Nguyen

For over 15 years, Dr. Tony Nguyen has practiced eye care at Laser Eye Center, where patients praise his technical expertise, warm bedside manner, and good humor. He provides comprehensive eye care dry eye, refractive (LASIK & PRK), EVO ICL, cataract, pterygium (carnosidad), keratoconus, co-management contact-lens fitting, as well as cosmetic procedures. Dr. Nguyen earned his bachelor's in biology at the University of California, Irvine and his Doctor of Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry, with an externship at the University of Chicago. He has diagnosed and managed ocular disease at the Center of Advanced Medicine, cared for veterans across VA Health Care Systems in Florida and New York, and trained in binocular vision at the Illinois Eye Institute. Born and raised in Orange County, Dr. Nguyen is a trustee-scholarship recipient who volunteers at My Refuge House. He welcomes new patients across Laser Eye Center's Los Angeles–area locations. DR.Nguyen was awesome ! Had a wonderful experience from my consultation day and on to my procedure date. I was initially very nervous and had many questions . He was was very knowledgeable and informative answering any questions or concerns I had without rushing .Going into my procedure I felt very at ease and confident I was in the right place. The entire staff was so welcoming and friendly, they helped me schedule my follow up appointments and took care of any concerns I had . Highly recommend if you’re looking for a very knowledgeable and experienced doctor .

Dr. Nguyen was outstanding from start to finish. He is not only incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, but also has a wonderful sense of humor that immediately put me at ease and made the entire experience enjoyable. He took the time to answer every question, explain my options clearly, and made me feel completely confident in my care. The entire Laser Eye Center team was professional, organized, and caring, and I could not be happier with my results.
