Dr. Tyah Johnson is a therapeutic and glaucoma certified optometrist, born and raised in Lubbock. Having worn glasses and contact lenses from a young age, she has always been interested in vision and eye health. While attending Texas Tech University, she worked in a private practice which inspired her to pursue a career as an Optometrist. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL. During her studies, Dr. Tyah Johnson completed externships in ocular disease in Brooklyn, NY, contact lenses and dry eye in Austin, TX, pediatric and vision therapy in Springfield, MO and low vision in Wheaton, IL. Dr. Johnson’s training and experience have prepared her for the challenges of primary eye care and the use of technology in the diagnosis and management of eye disease. Dr. Tyah Johnson provides a wide range of services including comprehensive eye exams and her areas of specialty include Contact Lenses, Laser Vision Correction/LASIK and cataract surgery consultation, and the Diagnosis and Treatment of Ocular Disease. ???????
