Dr. Vagisha Sharma is a Board-Certified Physician by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She earned her medical degree (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) from Ravindra Nath Tagore Medical College. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur, India, and further pursued residency training at New York Medical College at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center, where she served as chief resident from July 2003 to June 2004. During her training, she received the Berlex Best Teaching Resident Award and held an instructor position at New York Medical College. Her strong desire to continue helping women in need motivated her to pursue her training in the United States. She is also fluent in Hindi. Her husband is a Radiologist, and they are blessed with two children.
Throughout her career, Dr. Sharma has been known for her excellent clinical and surgical skills. She is a warm and caring physician who is sensitive to the needs of her patients.
Dr. Sharma has admitting privileges at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano and is accepting new patients at her Midway Medical building office, located just behind the hospital.
