About Dr. Veronica Gomez

Dr. Veronica Gomez is a board-certified optometrist who has joined Loh Ophthalmology Associates and is practicing at our location in Miami, Florida. Dr. Gomez earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then went on to earn her doctorate from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry where she graduated with honors. Following optometry school, Dr. Gomez completed her residency training at the Miami Veteran Affairs Hospital, located in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Gomez is trained in the treatment and management of ocular conditions including dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and corneal disorders. Dr. Gomez was awarded the Pioneer Primary Care Award in 2020. She remains active in local and national optometric associations to stay up to date on new treatments for her patients and for the advancement of her profession. We are very happy to have Dr. Gomez as part of our team and treating our patients here at Loh Ophthalmology Associates!

I had to follow-up with an eye doctor after an urgent care visit for an eye infection. I found her office on Google search. She was great, ordered a prescription that will be delivered to my house. I have a follow-up in two weeks with her again. She was very nice.
