About Dr. Victor Lin
Dr. Lin is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. He graduated from SUNY Buffalo and went on to obtain his Doctor of Optometry from the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry. He completed his ocular disease residency at the VA New York Harbor Health Care System in Brooklyn/Queens. His training also includes contact lens fitting (soft and hard lenses), myopia control for children—including orthokeratology, multifocal contact lenses, and atropine drops. Dr. Lin sees children aged 5 years and older.

My experience with Dr. Lin was great. I received a thorough check up of my eyes and the team made sure everything was precise and accurate. The doctor made sure to communicate exactly everything that was going on and explain how my eyes have changed. I appreciated that the doctor listened completely to my concerns and told me clearly what it meant. The office was nice and welcoming. I was way overdue for an eye exam so I looked for a doctor that took my insurance and was accepting new patients on Zocdoc. I came across Dr. Lin and went ahead and booked an appointment at the Bowery location after looking at the info, photos, and reviews. I had a great first visit! The office was really nice and clean and the staff and doctor were super professional. Dr. Lin took the time to listen to my concerns and addressed as needed. He also answered any questions that I had. Wish I had found him sooner! Highly recommend.

My experience at this office was extremely great. The appointment was quick and efficient, no time wasted. My first checkup appointment at this place and I was done with everything less than half an hour, which is great. There wasn’t piles of paperwork to do either, just one sheet and after you’re done they call you in for basic stuff within 5-10 mins. Afterwards, Dr.Lin called me in and I was out within 10 minutes. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well. One of the nicest offices I have been to by far. Definitely recommending to everyone, they send texts to remind you of your appointment as well.

First time going to Healthier Eye Specialists today and I had an amazing experience! I waited less than 10 minutes to be seen. The front desk staff was so nice and helpful. The medical assistant was very nice and quick and Dr. Victor Lin was great! He was super quick but I did not feel rushed at all and he made sure I left without any lingering questions. I will absolutely be coming here again. Highly recommend!
