“Dr. Vincent Bertomeu is amazing. I was so impressed by how quickly he spun the phoropter—twice to the left and right—and then simply asked, “Is this better?” I was shocked at how clear the letters instantly became. That was it! It felt almost too fast to believe the exam was already done. I’ve never met an eye doctor who works that quickly and accurately. Usually, I’m going back and forth—“1 or 2? 2 or 3?”—for five to ten minutes. He finished in under two minutes. You really have to experience it yourself!”

“This was a fantastic experience. The staff was so nice and so helpful. The doctor was awesome. He didn’t rush the appointment. He asked me questions, was completely engaged and had a great bedside manner. My experience was great from the moment I walked in the door until I left. Each part of my appointment ran smoothly. They have a great system in the office. I barely waited at all. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The office is run like a well oiled machine. I will definitely be back! ”

About Dr. Vincent Bertomeu
Undergraduate Education: Cornell University, BA. Optometry School: Pennsylvania College of Optometry, 2001. Professional Achievements and Associations: American Optometric Association, Virginia Optometric Association. The reason I became an optometrist is: I started wearing glasses in sixth grade and it made such a positive impact for me that I wanted to be able to bring that same experience to other people. My favorite part of helping my patients is: The first time a young person puts on glasses or contacts and says, "Wow!" After twenty years in practice that still gives me a thrill. In my spare time, I enjoy: I like to cook (and eat!) and travel (and eat!) I have 11-year-old twins so "spare time" is not really an accurate term.
