“I had a great experience with my new eye doctor. I was checked in promptly, and my wait time was only about two minutes. The pre-testing process was very thorough, and the technician took the time to explain each test clearly. The doctor was equally thorough, explaining the tests he performed and addressing all my concerns. I felt well-informed and cared for throughout the entire visit. Highly recommend!”

About Dr. Vincent Moscato

This provider only sees patients with in-network benefits or accepts self-pay. All other bookings are subject to cancellation. My earliest memory of wanting to be a doctor comes from working with my Uncle Pat, who has practiced Primary and Emergency Care in the Hudson Valley for over 30 years. I was always inspired by his wonderful relationships with his patients and his constant willingness to help others. It has been my goal to carry on that legacy, and it is a dream to serve the Hudson Valley community, which I have always considered "home." I earned my Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo and received my Doctor of Medicine degree from the Buffalo campus. I completed my internship in Preliminary Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel (Beth Israel Medical Center) and finished my residency in Ophthalmology at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. What I love most about Ophthalmology is that we are in a great position to directly help people. We can perform surgery that improves or restores vision lost to certain causes. We also identify vision-threatening diseases early and guide patients toward the best chance of preserving their sight. Patients are incredibly grateful for care that protects their vision, and their appreciation is truly rewarding. I connect with patients by listening carefully to their concerns and figuring out how best I can help. Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my big, fun, and loving Italian family. I also follow baseball and current events, have an interest in personal finance and the stock market, and recently took up amateur photography for fun. My advice for patients: Be a good steward of your eye health, and always wear safety goggles!

Great Doctor and staff

Very nervous to change my doctor after years with a good NYC eye doctor. Dr. Moscato was very professional and careful, hopefully will be keeping everything stable!

Was taken in right away, however is was a half hour from the initial exam until I was brought into an exam room then another half hour til I was seen by the doctor.
Seems knowledgeable, but definitely was not his priority. Waited a very long time for very brief interaction. Also, no one mentioned that I should not drive after having my eyes dilated, which was especially problematic as I had my child with me.
