About Dr. Vonda Ware
Vonda R. Ware, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who considers herself blessed with the opportunity to serve wholeheartedly in women’s healthcare. A graduate of Augusta University with a Doctor of Medicine degree, Dr. Ware brings over 25 years of expertise, validating each woman’s unique concerns and addressing holistic needs throughout every stage of a woman’s life. Supporting and advocating for women on their personal journeys to better health—through challenges and triumphs—and helping each patient maximize her well-being is Dr. Ware’s passion. Her full scope of services includes minimally invasive surgery, comprehensive OB and GYN care, in-office procedures, and consultations spanning puberty to menopause and beyond.
An alumna of Spelman College, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and a dedicated advocate for the rights of women and children, Dr. Ware devotes her life to empowering the family unit by strengthening women for their intentional purpose and power to transform communities, promoting health and wellness.

I was hoping to learn about Dr. Ware and for her to learn about me, as I’m searching for a regular obgyn. She was an hour behind, rushed in, asked the pertinent questions, and quickly did my exam. She moved so quickly that the nurse didn’t have time to assist. She quickly completed it and was out of the door. I waited over an hour for her to see me for 10 minutes tops. I’m sure she is very capable but I would not see her again or recommend her. I expect a certain level of interest in me from the physicians that care for my health. I didn’t receive that from Dr. Ware.

The doctor was great! The wait time was not alright, however. I had an 8:50am appointment and didn’t leave the office until 11:20pm and all I was there was for an annual pap smear. Definitely plan accordingly.

Dr Ware was very attentive and friendly. She listened and provided advice that was extremely helpful. She was dedicated to helping me get to the bottom of my issues rather than looking for a quick fix.
