Highlands Health for Life is a family medicine clinic run by Dr. Whitney Kennedy, who earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Colorado and completed her Family Medicine residency at HCA HealthONE Rose. We proudly opened for business in March 2008. Really liked Dr. Kennedy, however the receptionist at the front desk is not that friendly. I also spoke to her on the phone prior to coming in and she was also short and gave incorrect info.

I like that she really read up on the 12 pages of new patient paperwork & came in with questions on my family history details & my past health. Sometimes it seems doctors just file it away and never read it. Also, she was positive & explained everything simply & detailed.

She took the time to consult with me and really understand where I am at with ongoing medical treatment, respected what my previous Drs and I had as ongoing treatment plans and offered her advice in going forward with different options. She was very personable and reasonable and gave me a warm welcome. The receptionist and nurse was also very friendly and accomdating. You can tell the folks who work here are happy to be here, that's always a good sign.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Kennedy, and the positive reviews I read are all TRUE! I was a little thrown off by the neighborhood, but the office was very warm and inviting. The office manager, PA and doctor were all extremely friendly the entire time and it felt like a great place to be / trust / visit for the first time or 100th.
Dr. Kennedy was personable, understood and took into account all aspects of my families history and realistically considered and gave real life options for the questions I had. I was so reassured leaving the office... I knew I had found my new doctor for myself and my family! Wonderful visit!

Dr. Kennedy is smart, thorough, and down to earth. She listens, takes the time, discusses and clarifies all your medical and family history. Talks to you about your experience and listens to what your thoughts are. Explains things. I usually avoid going to the doctor, but I really enjoyed this visit, and am confident in her care.
