Dr. Dao Nguyen, OD, grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and attended Christian Brothers University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She stayed in Memphis and completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at Southern College of Optometry before moving to Atlanta to extend her residency training in Ocular Diseases at Clayton Eye Center. Prior to joining Clarkson Eyecare, she spent more than 12 years in a private ophthalmology practice on the south side of Atlanta. Outside of work, she is active in her local community and often takes part in organizing medical service trips abroad with her church annually. She currently resides in West Midtown Atlanta and enjoys hiking, running, cooking, and traveling.
