About Dr. Yaser Elqutub
Dr. Yaser Elqutub specializes in holistic wellness and healing. He established Purposeful Healing Direct Primary Care, a unique wellness center focused on addressing the root of health issues and seeing the whole person rather than just treating symptoms. Membership provides access to a Doctor of Osteopathy (specializing in Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy and integrative medicine), a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a PhD psychologist, a Registered Nurse, and a Reiki healer.
Dr. Elqutub earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, TX. He completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, where he also served as chief resident. He is originally from Houston, TX, with close ties to Dallas.
In undergrad, Dr. Elqutub majored in Scientific Inquiry with a minor in Philosophy at the Louisiana Scholars’ College at Northwestern State University, where he played collegiate football. He was a National Academic All-American and featured on ESPN’s College Awards show as Captain of the All-State Good Works Team. Other honors include finalist for the Bill Campbell Trophy Award, the N-th Degree Award, and NSU’s 2011 Homecoming King.
After college, Dr. Elqutub pursued professional football in the Canadian Football League with the B.C. Lions and the Indoor Football League with the West Texas Wildcatters. He transitioned to medicine after discovering Osteopathic Medicine. His passions include Osteopathic Manipulation, Integrative Medicine, and Holistic Medicine. He is known for his bedside manner, listening skills, and holistic approach. Dr. Elqutub is happily married to his high school sweetheart, Sophia, and they have two wonderful boys.

Dr. Yaser and his staff really put a great treatment plan together for me. The level of professionalism displayed during all of my individual sessions was A++… Because of my work schedule they were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to ensure that there would be no problems in getting me the appropriate treatment. What stood out to me was the team based approached taken to diagnose, treat and rehab my condition. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for the family doctor kind of experience as opposed to the corporate get in and out feel of most doctors these days.

Dr Yaser is so far the best doctor I found, he really listen and care about people health issues. He does amazing things, my first experience was great, he does make you feel better right away and you can feel so comfortable with him. Couldn’t be more thankful for finding a relief. I was dealing with sinus issues that got complicated to the point that my neck was in so much pain, and I had a bad headache too that made me so miserable and he helped me get relief right away. His holistic approach makes me feel even better that finally I found a solution to my sinus problems. He also is so great at explaining everything and his positive energy makes you definitely want to come back completely comfortable that your Health is in good hands. Thank you so much Dr Yaser.
If you looking for a doctor that doesn’t prescribe antibiotics for everything that’s not easy treatable and you want a doctor who will look deep into the root problem of the pain than Dr Yaser is your doctor to go!
