Attention, FELLOW FAT PEOPLE: If you're nervous about going to the doctor for fear of being treated as a child or subhuman because of your weight (this is a real phenomenon), I can recommend Dr. Raffinan very highly. He is sensitive, doesn't push weight loss surgery (or even mention it), respects my feelings and concerns, and works with me kindly and compassionately on my health goals without lecturing or shaming. The nurses at the practice are also excellent in this regard. Doctors like these can be hard to find, so I hope someone who needs to see this recommendation, does.

Dr Zvi Ben-Zvi took his time to listen to my concerns as a new patient asked a series of thoughtful and helpful questions. The check up was very thorough. Dr. Zvi-Ben-Zvi did various tests in the office and gathered as much information about my health as he could. I got my blood work done shortly after and was able to make a follow up appointment very quickly.
Really efficient and thorough staff. Doc and nurses were lovely. The actual visit was quick but they were very busy so there was some wait time.
Dr Peters is very knowledgeable but seems timid sometimes and I don't always trust her diagnosis as she seems young and not always assertive with her thoughts. For the most part she seems knowledgeable but the associates in the office who you meet with beforehand to take your vitals, and the front desk staff seem very unorganized every time I'm there. I've been multiple times and they seem to have gotten worse over the past 3 years. The main issue is that I feel like Dr Peters is administering to many tests (i.e blood work, EKG, ultra-sound) and not asking enough investigative questions to really get to the bottom of the issue.
First time seeing a doctor since moving to NYC in 2015. Dr. Halperin's office and staff very nice. Went in for a routine physical. Dr. Halperin has a very friendly bedside manner. Overall a quick and easy experience.
