When scheduling an appointment, the front and billing staff require complete and detailed information regarding the reason for your visit and insurance policy. If an appointment is scheduled with incomplete data, and we are unable to reach you, the appointment will be cancelled.
We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment, bring an Identification, your physical Insurance Card & a method of payment for copay or coinsurance. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel this appointment if any of the above is not provided at the time of service.
**In the event that you’re unable to keep your appointment, we ask that you call at least one business day prior during business hours in order to not incur the $50 Same Day Cancellation/Reschedule and No Show fee. By scheduling an appointment, it is implied that you accept this condition.**
Dr. Zoe Pilares grew up in The Woodlands, Texas. She graduated from The Woodlands College Park High School. She then attended The University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with honors with a bachelor’s of science degree in biochemistry. She completed her medical degree at McGovern Medical School where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. During her medical education she developed a passion for women’s health. She went on to complete a residency program in obstetrics and gynecology at Houston Methodist Hospital.
During her residency training she completed certifications in both fundamentals of laparoscopic surgery and the da Vinci robotic system. Her clinical interests include preventative care, contraceptive management, high risk obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She looks forward to continuing to serve the women of her community as she builds her practice here in Houston

I had such a lovely experience! The office staff was extremely courteous and I did not have to wait too long for my appointment. Once in my appointment, the actual exam was super quick! Considering it was just an annual check up, I was in and out in no time.

I didn’t realize I booked the downtown location instead of the office I was more familiar with so that was not ideal and I almost cancelled but I stuck with it since I had a pain I thought could be something serious and my regular doctor was not available for 3 more weeks. Parking was ridiculous at nine bucks for the whole 22 minutes I was there. I paid “a lot” out of pocket for the doctor to ask me a few questions, do a very quick pelvic exam and then give me a piece of paper directing me to get an ultrasound at the med center . Again, all this in 22 minutes. I’m really trying to rationalize the whole experience but I feel duped. I took off work, drove to an inconvenient location, and then was basically told to call to make an appointment at a hospital that’s even more inconvenient and take more time out of my already busy day as a working mom. I’m sorry, but at the end of the day, I’m laying here in bed no closer to an answer or conclusion than I was when I woke up this morning.

I went for a consultation regarding birth control options. Dr. Pilares took the time to answer all of my questions and answered all my concerns regarding my PCOS and best birth control options. I was really nervous about pain management and she put my mind at ease.

Dr. Pilares was wonderful and the wait time was less than five minutes. I have been putting off my first Well Woman’s Exam since I turned 20 (now 23) and was initially prompted to make one. In spite of my nerves, the entire exam was finished within a few minutes and was completely painless for me. The doctor was kind, listened to my history, talked me through the day’s procedure, and then educated me on the process of obtaining an IUD when asked about it. She also let me know that she would look into a pre-existing condition of mine to get up-to-date info on any implications hormonal BC might have on it. I appreciate this as it can have a wide range of effects on all parts of the body, but is not widely understood by many who aren’t board-certified in genetics or adjacent fields. I would highly recommend her!!

Dr. Pilares was great. She quickly answered any questions that I had, gave me suggestions on some blood tests that might benefit me and explained her reasoning behind the suggestion. She also checked to make sure that the tests worked with my insurance before ordering them. I made my appointment to see her for my next appointment on my way out of the office.
