UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I employ a conversational style to help clients discover the answers to their depression, anxiety, grief, and other emotional distress in their lives. I believe that each individual has tools within themselves to resolve whatever challenge they are facing, and my role is to guide them to look internally to find those tools. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Existential Therapy to help people see that they are not alone in their suffering. Suffering and crisis are opportunities to learn about your behaviors and to grow into a more loving and empathetic person. My clients can expect to be unconditionally validated and supported, no matter their race, lifestyle, or gender. I hold a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor's degree from Saint Leo University, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate, effective care.
