What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My path to becoming a therapist grew from a deep curiosity about how the mind and body respond to stress and how those responses ripple through everyday life. That curiosity evolved into a true calling – the more I understood the connection between stress, the nervous system, and lived experience, the more committed I became to offering mindfulness-based, body-aware, trauma-informed care. This perspective continues to shape how I show up in every session, where I bring a calm and attuned presence with a focus on helping you feel more connected, regulated, and empowered on your path forward.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Healing happens when we tune into the wisdom our bodies already hold and start making small, meaningful shifts in our awareness and our lives. That belief is at the heart of how I practice. Drawing from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and somatic and trauma-informed approaches, my style is collaborative, down-to-earth, and always tailored to your unique pace, values, and experience. You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental environment where your goals and needs shape the direction of our sessions. Whether you're working through emotional overwhelm, processing past experiences, or simply looking for steadier footing, we'll move toward helping you feel more grounded, regulated, and at ease in your own life.
