What should a new client know about working with you?

I specialize in working with adolescents, adults, and families who struggle with navigating the challenges of their lives. They are looking to understand how the different systems around them affect them in their day to day lives. As your therapist, I offer a space where you can feel safe, validated, and respected. I will not tell you “what” to do as your therapist, instead we will work as a team focusing on skills to help you start making progress in your life. We will walk the path towards your goals together guided by your goals we will make progress together.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work with kids, parents, adults and families. Depending on who I'm working with, I'll guide our therapy together so it fits your age, developmental level and includes your strengths. We will start with an initial assessment so I can learn more about you and what brings you into therapy at this time. I will ask a lot of questions about your symptoms, family life, history of psychiatric and medical treatments and more. This helps guide our treatment plan.
