Hi there, I'm Adam. In our sessions, my main focus is you—your story, your goals, your healing, and your well-being. I take an eclectic, client-based approach to our time together, molding my style to match your needs in a non-judgmental and empathetic way. My aim is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore and grow at your own pace. I hold a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver and a bachelor’s in Psychology and International Studies from American University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS or Parts Work). I have been practicing professionally since 2015. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with anger management, antisocial behavior, anxiety, PTSD, depression, family relationships, life transitions, intimate/romantic relationships, sex/intimacy issues, spirituality, stress, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming, and trauma. Whether you're navigating a difficult life transition, struggling with mental health challenges, or seeking to improve your relationships, I am here to support you. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy reading and writing, spending time outdoors, and cooking. These activities help me stay grounded and bring balance to my life, which I believe is essential for providing the best care to my clients.
