Getting to know Adil Yurekli
Adil Yurekli, LCSW, holds a Master's in Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor's degree from Seton Hall University. He works with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, the impact of trauma, and a variety of other mental health issues.
Adil believes that while many patients seek treatment for depression or anxiety symptoms, it is often the impact of their past trauma they need to address. He strives to empower his clients while simultaneously challenging them to take action to move forward with their goals.
Adil helps individuals accept their past and acknowledge their strengths. He guides clients in breaking negative patterns and creating new, healing ones. He provides motivation, support, and compassion as he works to understand a deeper meaning beyond life's everyday struggles. Adil utilizes all experiences to help clients move forward with personal goals, values, and visions. He knows that seeking help can be hard but offers a safe space to build a therapeutic alliance.
Through his work with Relief Mental Health, Adil collaborates with a dedicated team of experts who, in addition to therapeutic services, offer medication management, psychedelic antidepressant therapy (Spravato/esketamine) for treatment-resistant depression, and TMS evaluations for those struggling with depression or OCD.
What should a new client know about working with you?
The first appointment will involve a review of personal history, including family dynamics, childhood experiences, relationships, and any significant life events as well as explore the reasons you sought services and the specific symptoms and challenges you are facing. Recommendations for care will be provided and together you’ll begin to develop a plan to achieve your goals and achieve symptom relief.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
Relief Mental Health is an outpatient provider of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), psychedelic therapy (SPRAVATO® and IV Ketamine), psychiatric medication management, and talk therapy for the treatment of depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder and other mental health diagnoses. While our expertise is broad, there are certain mental health conditions and diagnoses that fall outside our scope of practice. Your initial appointment will be considered an intake appointment and will not guarantee a continued patient-provider relationship.

If we do not receive your insurance information at least 24 hours prior to your appointment, we will collect a $100.00 deposit at the time of service and verify benefits after your appointment has taken place. This deposit will be applied towards any out-of-pocket costs for services, including copays, coinsurances, deductibles, or the full cash rate if we are out-of-network or unable to verify your insurance benefits. Once benefits are verified, any outstanding balance will be charged to the credit card on file and any overpayment can be refunded or applied to future visits. Our providers’ profiles list which insurances they accept, but patients are still encouraged to contact their insurance company for specific coverage details. Most of our providers are in-network with a variety of commercial PPO policies and Medicare, but are out-of-network with commercial HMO policies, Medicaid and other government-funded health insurance providers.
